Your Factory is on Fire
Crash-land. Build a factory. Launch your way home. The robots that live here have other plans.
In alpha testing on Windows PC
Your ship came down hard on a forested planet, two kilometres of hills, rivers and swamp from anywhere. Most of it is still burning. You have a pickaxe, an axe and a ship's computer that doesn't remember its own name.
Take the wreck apart for parts, mine and smelt the ore in the hills, and build up from a stone furnace to a factory that runs itself: drills, belts, robotic arms, assemblers, steam and then nuclear power, all the way to a rocket silo. Walk through it, climb it and fix it with your own hands, in first or third person.
Build
- A 1 m build grid on real terrain: flatten the ground with a shovel, lay foundations and roads, bridge the rivers.
- Belts with splitters, tunnels and ramps, robotic arms, pipes and pumps, storage tanks and drums that carry fluids on belts.
- 117 technologies to research, every machine modelled: furnaces, kilns and blast furnaces, refineries and chemical plants, labs, reactors, the silo.
- Worker drones that carry between logistic chests and take on jobs: mining, felling, levelling ground, repairs, defence, refilling turrets, recovering salvage.
Defend
- Self-replicating robot printers stride across the map on six legs, deploy into hives and print squads of scouts and armoured breachers.
- They feed on your pollution. The more your factory smokes, the more of them come, and they get angry when you clear their forest.
- Walls and gates, gun, laser, flame and artillery turrets, a tank, and your own pistol, rifle, SMG and rocket launcher.
- Destroyed robots drop salvage, and their parts unlock research you can't reach any other way.
A world to land in
- Four maps to start on, or make your own: temperate valleys, islands in the sea, red desert and lava worlds.
- Day and night, drifting cloud, rain showers, mist and gusts of wind.
- Play together: up to four players in one game, over Steam or a direct connection.
